Aixam service intervals▾

Iveco recommends servicing based on mileage and usage — typically every 30,000 km or annually for the Daily range. Heavy-duty vehicles follow fleet-specific maintenance schedules.

Recommended schedule vs what actually happened
A service schedule is only worth as much as the servicing that actually followed it. A car sold as "fully serviced" might have skipped a year, or been stretched well past its interval — and the schedule alone can't tell you which. That's why buyers pair the recommended intervals with the car's real manufacturer service history: the dealer records show the actual dates and mileages, so you can see whether the car kept up. How often should I service my car?▾
Most manufacturers recommend a service every 12 months or every 10,000–12,000 miles, whichever comes first — but it varies by make, engine and whether the car uses a fixed or variable ("longlife") schedule. What's the difference between a service schedule and a service history?▾
The service schedule is what the manufacturer recommends — how often the car should be serviced. The service history is what actually happened — the record of services that were carried out. This tool shows the recommended schedule; to see whether a specific car was actually serviced on time, run a full service history check on its registration.
What's a variable or 'longlife' service interval?▾
Some makes (notably VW Group and BMW) use a variable schedule: instead of a fixed mileage, the car's computer monitors how it's driven and signals when a service is due, sometimes up to two years or ~18,000–20,000 miles for gentle use. It's convenient but means intervals can be long, so on a used car it's worth checking the actual service record rather than assuming.
Does a longer service interval mean less maintenance?▾
Not necessarily — it usually reflects better oils and engineering, not a car that needs less care. What matters is that whatever the schedule says was actually followed. Missed or stretched services show up as gaps in the service history and can shorten a car's life, so buyers should verify the record.
