Usually because the servicing was done at independent garages, which don't write to Skoda's system, or because it was done before the dealer network kept digital records. A book full of independent stamps can be perfectly genuine; it just has to be backed by the paperwork rather than by the dealer system. If we find nothing, your card isn't charged.

No. The UK registration is all we need: no log-in, no ownership documents and no contact with the seller. That's why people use it before they buy, to compare what the seller says with what Skoda's dealers recorded.

Put the dates and readings side by side and look at the spacing. Škoda follows VW Group servicing. Intervals differ by engine and model year, so the handbook has the exact figure for a given car. A gap much longer than the schedule is worth asking the seller about: it may have been an independent service with an invoice in the folder, or it may have been missed. The MOT readings in the same report fill in the mileage between visits.

Sometimes, if you are the keeper. A Skoda dealer will often print the history at the service desk if you bring the car's documents, and some Skoda owner apps show recent visits for the car linked to your account. Neither helps a buyer looking at someone else's car, and we know of no public Skoda website that shows the whole record. Yes. DSG transmission fluid changes (required on the wet-clutch DSGs in higher-output Octavia / Superb / Kodiaq — at 40,000 miles on most, 80,000 miles on the 7-speed DQ381) appear as specific line items in dealer records.

Yes. The annual high-voltage battery health check on the Enyaq iV is recorded as a workshop entry. The 8-year battery warranty depends on this being completed at a Skoda dealer.
