How Honda records service data
Honda UK uses the Honda Motor Europe dealer management system, which logs all franchised UK Honda dealer visits against the VIN with date, mileage, service type, line items, and dealer code. However, our manufacturer data source primarily provides full Honda record coverage for vehicles registered in Germany — UK-registered Honda records are returned only in a small proportion of cases through this lookup. The MyHonda+ app (now Honda Connect) shows recent services on supported newer cars. For the most reliable UK Honda service-history retrieval, contacting an authorised UK Honda dealer directly remains the most thorough option — though for many UK Hondas our lookup will retrieve at least some data.

All UK Honda models in principle covered, though data return rate is low: Jazz (GD / GE / GK / GR inc. e:HEV hybrid), Civic (Mk7 / Mk8 / Mk9 / Mk10 / Mk11 inc. Type R), CR-V (Mk4 / Mk5 / Mk6 inc. e:HEV hybrid), HR-V (Mk1 / Mk2 / Mk3 inc. e:HEV), ZR-V, e (electric, 2020-2024), e:Ny1 (electric SUV), NSX (Mk2 supercar), older Accord (Mk7 / Mk8), Insight, Stream, FR-V. The British-built Civic from Swindon (2003-2021) and CR-V have particularly large UK populations.
Honda-specific things to know
Two Honda-specific things to know: First, because our UK Honda data return rate is low, a 'no records found' result doesn't mean the car wasn't serviced — it often means the records exist at the dealer but aren't exposed through our German-centric feed. For high-value purchase decisions, requesting records directly from an authorised UK Honda dealer is a useful additional step. Second, where our lookup does return UK Honda data, it includes the same workshop remarks (recall completion, warranty repairs, service activities) that other Workshop-Remarks-tier brands provide.
