How DAF records service data

DAF UK uses the DAF Trucks dealer management system (DAF Connect / MultiSupport). Records are held against the VIN at franchised UK DAF dealers and through DAF MultiSupport maintenance contracts — many trucks are operated under MultiSupport agreements that bundle dealer servicing, breakdown cover and parts at a fixed cost per kilometre. Where MultiSupport applies, records are particularly comprehensive. Coverage through our lookup is limited because the DAF data feed structure differs from passenger-car manufacturers — many records are held in fleet operator systems rather than the central DAF database. Heavy commercial vehicle records flow through different infrastructure than passenger cars.

DAF models we cover

DAF UK models covered (where data exists): LF series (LF45 / LF55 / new LF, distribution and light delivery), CF series (CF65 / CF75 / CF85 / new CF, distribution and heavy haulage), XF series (XF95 / XF105 / new XF, long-haul), XB / XD / XF / XG / XG+ (latest 2022+ ranges), older 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 series. Coverage is rare even for cars sold through UK DAF dealers because of how commercial vehicle records flow.

DAF-specific things to know

Three DAF-specific things to know: First, the MultiSupport maintenance contract is the primary way most UK DAF trucks are serviced — where it applies, records are exceptionally detailed but flow through fleet systems rather than the central manufacturer database, so our lookup may return less than the truck actually has on record. Second, AdBlue / SCR emission control systems on Euro 5 and Euro 6 DAFs need verifiable dealer servicing — entries for AdBlue refills and SCR-related work are reassuring. Third, the PACCAR MX engines used across the CF and XF range have known turbo-related issues at very high mileage (500,000+ km) where service-interval discipline is critical.

Why check DAF service history before buying

DAF truck resale is highly trade-driven. Verifiable MultiSupport or dealer service history substantially supports trade-in pricing at the dealer (in many cases) or at auction. For older trucks (10+ years old, very high mileage) dealer history is even more important — it's effectively mandatory for resale to a serious operator.
