How DS records service data

DS Automobiles UK uses the Stellantis dealer management system shared with Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall, Fiat, Jeep and Alfa Romeo. DS launched as a standalone premium brand in 2014, splitting off from Citroën. Pre-2015 DS-badged Citroën models (DS3, DS4, DS5 — sold 2010-2015 as Citroën DS) have records logged as Citroën in the system; post-2015 standalone DS models (DS 3 Crossback, DS 4, DS 7 Crossback, DS 9) are logged under DS. Coverage is digital from 2014 onwards but data through our lookup is limited because the standalone DS UK dealer network is small. The MyDS app shows recent services for newer cars; the dealer system holds the complete record. Records persist across dealer ownership changes.

UK DS models covered: DS 3 Crossback (E-Tense electric variant included), DS 4 (new, from 2021), DS 7 Crossback / DS 7 (inc. E-Tense PHEV), DS 9 (E-Tense PHEV), the upcoming DS 8 (electric, from 2025). Pre-2015 Citroën-badged DS models (DS3, DS4, DS5) are recorded under Citroën in the dealer system. DS-specific things to know

Three DS-specific things to know: First, pre-2015 DS models (DS3, DS4, DS5) were sold as Citroën — search under Citroën if a DS lookup returns nothing. Second, DS shares PureTech 1.2 petrol with the rest of Stellantis — the wet-belt service is critical (see Peugeot / Citroën notes). Third, DS 7 E-Tense PHEV and DS 9 PHEV need annual high-voltage battery health checks; verify these appear in records to maintain 8-year battery warranty cover.
