Dealer Referral Programme Terms

Last updated: 15 August 2026

The Find Service History Dealer Referral Programme allows registered trade account holders to earn account credit by referring other motor dealers to the platform.

By participating in this programme, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Eligibility

The referral programme is available to registered trade (dealer) account holders with an approved account only. Referrals must be genuine motor dealers or automotive businesses. Each referred dealer must be a new customer who has not previously registered a Find Service History account.

2. Referral Process

Each dealer is assigned a unique referral code, visible on their trade dashboard. To make a referral, share your referral code or personalised referral link with another motor dealer. The referred dealer must enter the referral code during their trade registration, or sign up via the referral link.

3. Qualifying Referral

A referral qualifies when all of the following conditions are met:

- The referred dealer signs up for a new trade account using a valid referral code.
- The referred dealer completes at least one successful, chargeable service history check.
- A "successful chargeable check" means a check where manufacturer service history records are found. Checks where no service history is found are automatically refunded and do not count as the qualifying check.

4. Reward

The referring dealer receives £25 account credit for each qualifying referral. Rewards are subject to manual review and approval by Find Service History. Credit is only applied to the referrer's account once the referral has been approved. There is no reward for the referred dealer under this programme.

5. Account Credit

Referral credit is added to the referrer's account balance. Credit can be used to pay for future service history checks at the standard trade rate (£4.99 per check). Credit is non-transferable and has no cash value. Credit cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

6. Anti-Abuse

Self-referrals are not permitted. You may not refer yourself using a different email address or account. Duplicate accounts, fake accounts, or accounts created solely for the purpose of obtaining referral credit are not permitted. Find Service History reserves the right to refuse, reverse, or cancel any referral reward where abuse, fraud, or manipulation is suspected. All referral activity is subject to audit and review.

7. Modifications

Find Service History reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the referral programme at any time without prior notice. Any changes will apply to future referrals. Referrals already approved will not be affected.

8. General

These terms are supplementary to the main Find Service History Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict, these referral terms take precedence with respect to the referral programme. For questions about the referral programme, contact hello@findservicehistory.com.
