Notes from the handbooks
  • 205/65R16 95H: Same in the 2024 edition (S49).
  • 215/55R17 94V: Same in the 2024 edition (S49).
  • 215/50R18 92V: Same in the 2024 edition (S49), which lists two 18-inch types (A and B) with this size and the same figures.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Toyota Yaris Cross have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Toyota lists, the normal-load pressure is 32–33 psi (2.2–2.3 bar) at the front and 29–32 psi (2.0–2.2 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Toyota Yaris Cross take?

Toyota fitted the Yaris Cross with 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17 and 215/50 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Toyota Yaris Cross?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
