Notes from the handbooks
- 195/65R15 91H: Handbook: 'The tire inflation pressure is specified on the tire-loading information label' - Type A and Type B are not otherwise defined. Handbook also prints a higher figure for driving above 160 km/h (100 mph): 280 (2.8, 41) front, 270 (2.7, 39) rear. Identical in the Touring Sports (S19) and Sedan (S20) handbooks of 2019. The 2024 edition (S21) prints this as the only 15-inch figure, with no Type split.

What the handbooks don't say
- Only Hybrid handbooks were read (the 1.2T petrol hatchback of 2019 shares the Corolla range but its own handbook was not opened).
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should a Toyota Corolla have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Toyota lists, the normal-load pressure is 32–36 psi (2.2–2.5 bar) at the front and 30–35 psi (2.1–2.4 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Toyota Corolla take?
Toyota fitted the Corolla with 195/65 R15, 205/55 R16, 225/45 R17 and 225/40 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Toyota Corolla?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
