What the handbooks don't say
- No English-language XA30 (2006-2013) RAV4 handbook is published on Toyota's manual site: the entry listed as 'RAV4 2011' with XA30 model codes (PZ49X-42841-EN) actually contains the XA40 handbook. Pressures not found; sizes from the 2006 launch press kit only (the 2010 facelift's wheel range was not checked).
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should a Toyota RAV4 have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Toyota lists, the normal-load pressure is 30–35 psi (2.1–2.4 bar) at the front and 30–35 psi (2.1–2.4 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Toyota RAV4 take?
Toyota fitted the RAV4 with 225/65 R17, 225/60 R18, 235/55 R18 and 235/55 R19, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Toyota RAV4?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
