Hyundai tyre pressures

Hyundai i10 tyre pressure

The tyre pressures Hyundai prints in its handbook for each i10 tyre size, by generation — i10 Mk3 (AC3) (2019 on), i10 Mk2 (IA) (2014–2020) and i10 Mk1 (PA) (2008–2013). Find your tyre size on the sidewall, then read across.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Hyundai i10 have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Hyundai lists, the normal-load pressure is 32–33 psi (2.2–2.3 bar) at the front and 30–33 psi (2.1–2.3 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Hyundai i10 take?

Hyundai fitted the i10 with 155/70 R13, 165/60 R14, 175/60 R14, 175/65 R14, 175/50 R15, 185/55 R15 and 195/45 R16, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Hyundai i10?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.

When should I use the fully laden pressures?

When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
