What the handbooks don't say
  • Row years come from the build-date ranges ford.co.uk gives for each manual edition: the earlier table covers editions for vehicles built 20/04/2020 to 15/12/2024; the MHEV and battery-electric tables are from the edition for vehicles built from 16/12/2024. No 2019-built edition was read.
  • The ST table is unchanged across the editions read, so its rows carry no years.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Ford Puma have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Ford lists, the normal-load pressure is 32–38 psi (2.2–2.6 bar) at the front and 26–36 psi (1.8–2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Ford Puma take?

Ford fitted the Puma with 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 215/50 R18 and 225/40 R19, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Ford Puma?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.

When should I use the fully laden pressures?

When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
