What the handbooks don't say
  • Load index / speed rating printed only in the ed. 04/2017 handbook (e.g. 195/65 R15 91T); later editions print the bare size.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Vauxhall Crossland have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Vauxhall lists, the normal-load pressure is 33 psi (2.3 bar) at the front and 33 psi (2.3 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Vauxhall Crossland take?

Vauxhall fitted the Crossland with 195/65 R15, 195/60 R16, 205/60 R16 and 215/50 R17, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Vauxhall Crossland?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.

When should I use the fully laden pressures?

When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
