Notes from the handbooks
- 205/60 R16 96H: Handbook labels the normal-load column 'Half-load'. One pressure table for all sizes (2026 handbook).
- 215/50 R17 95V: Handbook labels the normal-load column 'Half-load'. The 2022 handbook prints only this size; the 2026 handbook (M13) prints the same pressures.
- 235/45 R18 98W: Handbook labels the normal-load column 'Half-load'. One pressure table for all sizes (2026 handbook).
What the handbooks don't say
- XPower-specific tyre size and pressure not separately printed in either handbook read.
- No spare wheel listed (tyre repair kit car).
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should an MG MG4 EV have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes MG lists, the normal-load pressure is 37 psi (2.5 bar) at the front and 37 psi (2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does an MG MG4 EV take?
MG fitted the MG4 EV with 205/60 R16, 215/50 R17 and 235/45 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on an MG MG4 EV?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
