Notes from the handbooks

  • 215/55R18 95H: Mazda prints this as 'Up to 3 persons' (front/rear) and 'Full load' (frontLaden/rearLaden); 1 person = about 75 kg.
What the handbooks don't say
  • Only the model-year 2019 European edition read; later editions (e-Skyactiv X, 2.5) not checked.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Mazda CX-30 have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Mazda lists, the normal-load pressure is 36 psi (2.5 bar) at the front and 36 psi (2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Mazda CX-30 take?

Mazda fitted the CX-30 with 215/65 R16 and 215/55 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Mazda CX-30?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.

When should I use the fully laden pressures?

When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
