Notes from the handbooks
  • 215/60R17 96H: The handbook prints 'type A' and 'type B' for the same size and wheel without saying how to tell them apart; check the door-pillar label. The 2024 UX 300h handbook (S63) prints the identical table.
  • 215/60R17 96H: See the 'type A' row. The 2024 UX 300h handbook (S63) prints the identical table.
  • 225/50RF18 95V: The 2024 UX 300h handbook (S63) prints the identical table.
  • 225/50R18 95V: The UX 300e handbook prints no compact spare.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Lexus UX have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Lexus lists, the normal-load pressure is 33–36 psi (2.3–2.5 bar) at the front and 33–36 psi (2.3–2.5 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Lexus UX take?

Lexus fitted the UX with 215/60 R17 and 225/50 R18, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Lexus UX?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
