Land Rover tyre pressures

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque tyre pressure

The tyre pressures Land Rover prints in its handbook for each Range Rover Evoque tyre size, by generation — Range Rover Evoque Mk2 (L551) (2018 on) and Range Rover Evoque Mk1 (L538) (2011–2018). Find your tyre size on the sidewall, then read across.

Range Rover Evoque tyre pressures by generation

Range Rover Evoque Mk2 (L551) (2018 on)

The handbook lists these sizes but prints no pressures for them — use the label on the car.

What the handbooks don't say
  • MY2020-MY2026 handbooks: the handbook says the recommended pressures are on the tyre pressure label (driver's door opening / B-pillar) and prints no pressure table; no tyre sizes are printed either.

Notes from the handbooks
  • 225/65 R17 106V: Front/rear are the handbook's 'Normal load up to maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)' pressures; no separate full-load figure is printed. Comfort setting (up to 3 occupants and 1 luggage item): front 2.4 bar (35 psi, 240 kPa), rear 2.1 bar (31 psi, 210 kPa). The same normal-load figures are printed for speeds below and in excess of 161 km/h (100 mph). The MY2018-MY2019 handbooks print this under 'coupe vehicles' (their tables are split into 'coupe vehicles' and 'convertible vehicles'); the MY2017 table, not split by body style, prints the same figures. Handbook model years MY2017-MY2019.

What the handbooks don't say
  • MY2016 iGuide handbooks (incl. Convertible) and the (c) 2014 TOPIx editions LRL 10 02 60 152 / 153: the tyre information label is on the driver's side B pillar; no pressure table is printed.
  • 2011-2012 cars: the first Evoque handbook editions were not found on a JLR host; the earliest edition read is LRL 10 02 60 141, (c) 2013.
  • Handbook printings of the same bar figure differ in psi between editions (2.1 bar = 30 psi in LRL 10 02 60 141 but 31 psi in MY2017-MY2019; 2.5 bar = 36 vs 37 psi) - each row records its own edition's printing.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Land Rover lists, the normal-load pressure is 35–47 psi (2.4–3.2 bar) at the front and 30–41 psi (2.1–2.8 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque take?

Land Rover fitted the Range Rover Evoque with 225/65 R17, 235/60 R18, 235/55 R19 and 245/45 R20, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
