What the handbooks don't say
- Rows are taken from the November 2024 online handbook; a row's first year is the earliest edition (December 2019 at the earliest for most rows, 2018 where the 2018 editions already print the same value) from which every later edition prints the same value. Values that differ in the March/September 2018 and June 2019 editions are not transcribed, so some 2018-2019 vans have no rows.
- Handbook editions from 2025 no longer print the table (it is on the driver's seat base or B-pillar label), so no rows are given for 2025-on vans.
- Which table applies depends on drive type (front- or rear-wheel drive), single/twin/Super Single rear tyres, camper-van conversion and the maximum axle loads on the vehicle identification plate.
- The camper-van rear axle 2430 kg table prints '550 kPa (4.8 bar/70 psi)' and '530 kPa (4.8 bar/70 psi)' and the rear-wheel-drive front axle 1740 kg table prints '380 kPa (3.6 bar/55 psi)' for 205/75R16C 110/108R; the units disagree, so those figures are left out.

What the handbooks don't say
- Rows come from seven UK handbook editions (2011-2017); a row's years run from the first to the last edition printing the same values. Handbooks for 2006-2010 vans are not on the Mercedes-Benz UK owner's-manual host, so no rows start before 2011.
- Which row applies depends on the permissible front/rear axle loads on the vehicle identification plate (driver's seat base) and on single, twin or Super Single rear tyres.

What tyre pressure should a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Mercedes-Benz lists, the normal-load pressure is 35–61 psi (2.4–4.2 bar) at the front and 35–84 psi (2.4–5.8 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
