Fiat tyre pressures
Fiat 500 tyre pressure
The tyre pressures Fiat prints in its handbook for each 500 tyre size, by generation — 500e (electric, 2020–on) (2020 on) and 500 (2007–2024, petrol and diesel) (2007–2024). Find your tyre size on the sidewall, then read across.

What the handbooks don't say
- Year boundaries are taken from the two editions read (09/2013 for the pre-facelift car, 07/2023 for the facelift); 2016-2022 editions with 1.2 8V / 0.9 TwinAir on the facelift car were not transcribed.
- Wheel sizes for the 0.9 TwinAir in the 09/2013 handbook are on a page not transcribed; TwinAir rows rely on the pressure-table footnotes.
Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions
What tyre pressure should a Fiat 500 have?
It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Fiat lists, the normal-load pressure is ≈29–35 psi (2.0–2.4 bar) at the front and ≈29–33 psi (2.0–2.3 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.
What size tyres does a Fiat 500 take?
Fiat fitted the 500 with 165/65 R14, 175/65 R14, 185/55 R15, 185/65 R15, 195/45 R16, 195/55 R16 and 205/45 R17, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tyre pressure label on a Fiat 500?
On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.
When should I use the fully laden pressures?
When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
