What the handbooks don't say
  • Quadrifoglio (2.9 V6) figures are from the ed. 12/2023 handbook only; the 2016-2022 Quadrifoglio supplement was not read.
  • Giulia handbooks print no space-saver size or pressure in the tyre table.

Figures marked "Maker's handbook" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the handbook prints. Nothing here has been checked against your car: if it disagrees with the label on the car, the label wins.

Tyre pressure questions

What tyre pressure should an Alfa Romeo Giulia have?

It depends on the tyre size and, on some versions, the engine. For the sizes Alfa Romeo lists, the normal-load pressure is 29–39 psi (2.0–2.7 bar) at the front and 32–42 psi (2.2–2.9 bar) at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tyres cold.

What size tyres does an Alfa Romeo Giulia take?

Alfa Romeo fitted the Giulia with 205/60 R16, 225/55 R16, 225/50 R17, 225/45 R18, 255/40 R18, 225/40 R19, 245/35 R19 and 255/35 R19, among others, depending on the generation and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tyre; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tyre pressure label on an Alfa Romeo Giulia?

On most cars it is on the driver's door pillar or inside the fuel filler flap. It normally gives the same figures as the handbook, which is where the ones on this page come from — if the two ever disagree, go by the label on your car.

When should I use the fully laden pressures?

When the car is carrying a full load — every seat taken, a full boot or a trailer. For everyday driving use the normal figures.
